Notion Integration

Documentation about how to enable and leverage the Notion Integration in your Hatz account.

Notion Integration

Overview

Use the Notion integration to bring your Notion workspace directly into Hatz.
The provider endpoint for this integration is https://mcp.notion.com/mcp.
Hatz connects to Notion through Notion's official MCP server using OAuth. Each user connects their own Notion account, and Hatz only accesses the pages and workspaces that user explicitly grants during the OAuth flow.

Common use cases

  • Search and retrieve content from your Notion workspace in a Hatz conversation.

  • Create or update Notion pages from a chat or workflow.

  • Add meeting notes, summaries, or generated content directly to a Notion page.

  • Query Notion databases and pull structured data into a workflow.

Example asks

  • "Search Notion for our Q3 product brief."

  • "Add a summary of this meeting to our Project Notes page in Notion."

  • "Create a new page in my Notion workspace called 'Onboarding Checklist'."

  • "Pull the items from our Roadmap database in Notion."

Prerequisites

  • A Notion account with access to the pages and workspaces you want Hatz to use.

  • Access to the Hatz Connections screen.

Connect the integration

  1. In Hatz, open Workshop and select Connections.

  2. Find Notion and click Connect.

  3. Complete the Notion OAuth flow. During this step you will choose which pages and workspaces Hatz can access — only the content you select will be available.

  4. Test the connection with an ask such as "Search Notion for [a page you know exists]."

Adjusting access after connecting

To change which Notion pages or workspaces Hatz can access, disconnect and reconnect the integration. This re-runs the OAuth selection step. Existing workflows and chats that use the Notion connection are not affected as long as the integration stays connected.

Troubleshooting

  • If Hatz can’t find a page, check that you granted access to it during the OAuth flow. You can reconnect to update your page selection.

  • Authentication failures usually mean the Notion OAuth session is incomplete or expired. Disconnect and reconnect the integration.

  • If the integration is not visible in Hatz, ask a Hatz admin to confirm your workspace has access.
