Connect Hunter to Hatz using an API key.

Hunter MCP Integration

Overview

Use the Hunter MCP integration to bring Hunter context into Hatz.
The provider endpoint for this integration is https://mcp.hunter.io/mcp.
Hatz connects to this provider with an API key. This path is available now in Hatz.

Common use cases

  • Find contacts at a target company or domain.

  • Enrich a company with Hunter domain or organization data before outreach.

  • Research a prospect account during sales or GTM workflows.

  • Pull contact data into an agent workflow that prepares outreach or account notes.

Example asks

  • "Find contacts at example.com with Hunter."

  • "Use Hunter to look up the domain information for acme.com."

  • "Find likely marketing contacts for Example Corp in Hunter."

  • "Use Hunter to enrich this company before drafting an outreach plan."

Prerequisites

  • A Hunter account or workspace with access to the provider's MCP features.

  • Access to the Hatz Connections screen.

  • This integration is available now in Hatz.

Provider-side setup

  1. Create or copy the API key you want to use for the provider MCP server.

  2. Confirm the key has the provider permissions required for MCP access.

Connect the MCP server

  1. In Hatz, open Connections and choose Hunter.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Paste the API key when Hatz prompts for credentials.

  4. Test the connection with an ask such as "Find contacts at example.com with Hunter."

Troubleshooting

  • Authentication failures usually mean the provider workspace, token, or browser grant is incomplete.

  • If the integration is not visible in Hatz yet, your workspace may still be waiting on beta or feature-flag enablement.

  • Provider-specific note: Use the Hunter API key in the X-API-KEY header.
