Netdata MCP Integration
Overview
Use the Netdata MCP integration to bring Netdata context into Hatz.
The provider endpoint for this integration is https://app.netdata.cloud/api/v1/mcp.
Hatz connects to this provider with a bearer token. This path is available now in Hatz.
Common use cases
Investigate infrastructure slowdowns using live metrics and anomaly context.
Check CPU, memory, disk, or network health across monitored nodes.
Pull Netdata state into incident response workflows.
Summarize current infrastructure conditions before escalating an issue.
Example asks
"Show current CPU saturation in Netdata."
"List recent anomalies in Netdata Cloud."
"What nodes in Netdata have elevated memory pressure right now?"
"Summarize current infrastructure health from Netdata before I page the team."
Prerequisites
A Netdata account or workspace with access to the provider's MCP features.
Access to the Hatz Connections screen.
This integration is available now in Hatz.
Provider-side setup
Create or copy the token you want to use for the provider MCP server.
Confirm the token has the scopes or permissions required for MCP access.
Connect the MCP server
In Hatz, open Connections and choose Netdata.
Click Connect.
Paste the token when Hatz prompts for credentials.
Test the connection with an ask such as "Show current CPU saturation in Netdata."
Troubleshooting
Authentication failures usually mean the Netdata workspace or token is incomplete.
If the integration is not visible in Hatz yet, ask a Hatz admin to confirm your workspace has access to the integration.
Use a Netdata Cloud API token with the
mcpscope as a Bearer token.
