Connect Intercom to Hatz using a bearer token.

Intercom MCP Integration

Overview

Use the Intercom MCP integration to bring Intercom context into Hatz.
The provider endpoint for this integration is https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp.
Hatz connects to this provider with a bearer token.

Common use cases

  • Summarize customer conversations and support context from Intercom.

  • Use Intercom context during escalations, handoffs, and product triage.

Example asks

  • "Use Intercom to summarize recent customer conversations about this issue."

  • "Find recent Intercom conversations mentioning billing errors."

Prerequisites

  • An Intercom account or workspace with access to the provider's MCP features.

  • Access to the Hatz Connections screen.

Provider-side setup

  1. Create or copy the token you want to use for the provider MCP server.

  2. Confirm the token has the scopes or permissions required for MCP access.

Connect the MCP server

  1. In Hatz, open Connections and choose Intercom.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Paste the token when Hatz prompts for credentials.

  4. Test the connection with an ask such as "Use Intercom to summarize recent customer conversations about this issue."

Troubleshooting

  • Authentication failures usually mean the Intercom workspace or access token is incomplete.

  • If the integration is not visible in Hatz yet, ask a Hatz admin to confirm the integration is enabled for your workspace.

  • Use an Intercom access token in the Authorization header.
