Overview
Deleting an end user/customer tenant requires access to admin.hatz.ai and permissions to modify tenants.
When an end user no longer needs access to their Hatz tenant, there are two options available:
Cancel Tenant
Cancelling a tenant will allow users to continue accessing the tenant for the remainder of the month
At the start of the next month the tenant and billing are disabled. Data availability after cancellation depends on retention settings, product behavior, and your agreement
The tenant can be reactivated at a future date if needed
If you need to cancel an end user/customer tenant, follow the steps in this article: https://docs.hatz.ai/en/articles/15434290-cancel-and-reactivate-end-user-tenant
Delete Tenant
Deleting a tenant immediately disables tenant access and starts the applicable billing change
Tenant packages are billed ahead for the billing period. Deleting a tenant does not automatically credit back the package for the current period unless your agreement or an approved billing adjustment says otherwise.
Deleting a tenant is designed to permanently remove the tenant and associated users and data
Tenant deletion should be treated as irreversible
A new tenant will need to be created if the customer needs access again in the future
How to Delete a Tenant
Follow the below steps to delete an end user/customer tenant:
Login to admin.hatz.ai as a user with permissions to modify a tenant
Select the "Tenant" tab at the top and select the tenant you want to delete
Select the three dots in the top right and select "Cancel Tenant"
Select "Delete tenant" in the pop up window
Deleting a Hatz tenant should be treated as irreversible. It is designed to remove the tenant and associated users and data, and recovery may not be possible. Confirm this is the expected outcome before continuing.
Type the name of the tenant, select the checkbox confirming you understand what the deletion will do and then select "Delete Tenant"
Once the above is completed, the tenant deletion process begins and the applicable billing change is applied for that tenant.
